Intro to Dog Sports, Scentwork, Rally & and Obedience

“Intro to Dog Sports”

This 8 week class will give participants a foundation in the AKC sports  of Obedience and Rally, including all Canine Good Citizen elements. Along the way we’ll be introducing the basics of Agility, Scentwork and Tricks. Students who successfully complete the course will have the opportunity to earn a CGC and Tricks title!

“Obedience and Rally”

Wednesday and Thursday night classes in Obedience and Rally. These 8 week classes are competition oriented and will prepare you to show your dog in Rally and Obedience. Thursday class is Beginner Novice and Novice training, Wednesday classes are Pre-Open through Open. Dogs should have prior basic training through our Intro to Dog Sports class and/or have earned their CGC.

“Scentwork”

New this year is a Scentwork class offered on Wednesday evenings. Teach your dog to identify scent under various conditions to prepare for Scentwork trials! Cost is $80 for 8 weeks. Preregistration is required.

Classes are open to all breeds and mixed breeds!
